Principal's Message: the final edition

Vol. 8.3
June 4, 2025

Good afternoon, KMS students, parents, families, and friends.

This week’s Principal’s Message comes with only 3.5 days of school left, and it marks the final message of the school year. Starting way on August 1st, 34 Principal’s Messages and 6 Between 2 Knights (B2K) podcasts have been published and sent to our community. It’s amazing how it only feels like yesterday that I sat down for that first set of communication. I am proud of the love, leadership, and learning opportunities that our staff have provided. I am appreciative of the great kids that grace our hallways each day, and am thankful of the wonderful bonds we have built with our community at large.

KMS Principal

In the final few days of the school year, please take note of the following:

  • Need parent help: you would be completely surprised about the number of water guns that we have confiscated over the past 5 school days. Please help us spread the word….let’s not have any shenanigans the final few days of school.
  • June 4: as of today, all student Chromebooks, charging cables, and cases should have been returned.
  • June 5, 15:30-17:30: End of Year Student Council Block Party. Check-in starts at 15:15 in the 1178 Gym/Cafeteria. Student may pay at the door, $3 or 3Euro. Refreshments may be purchased…gotta keep those kids fed/hydrated.
  • June 6: We have an in-school talent show to highlight some amazing (and brave) kids. Due to limited space for visitors, we have not opened this event up for the community.
  • June 9: End of Year activities coordinated through each grade level. This will include Yearbook distribution.
  • June 10: Last day of school. Students release at 11:10. Note…No backpacks allowed at school.
