Principal's Message: MOMC opportunities galore, edition

Vol. 7.8
April 23, 2025

Students, parents, families, and friends of KMS, happy Month of the Military Child!

In last week’s message I gave a shout out to the students that grace our hallways and classrooms each day. Month of the Military Child is our opportunity to pause, reflect, and recognize the incredible impact that our military connected children have to our school community. Obviously, we are here because the kids are here, but I would be remiss if I didn’t say that our students make our work a true joy. April isn’t over and we have more ways for us to honor our students. If you have a free moment today during lunch from 11:00-11:35 (6th grade) or 11:55-12:30 (7th & 8th grades) you should drop by the school for a special treat for your ears. Speaking of lunchtime, check out the flyer for an opportunity to join your student for lunch on April 29 and/or April 30. It’s true, middle school students may say that don’t want a parent to join them for lunch, but I promise that they LOVE it when a parent shows up!
