Happy Tuesday, KMS students, parents, families, and friends!

It’s a busy couple of months here at KMS, so I am going to get right down to the nitty gritty with some simple bullet points.

Exciting news, Student Chromebooks are here!!!!

  • January 24th, 1530-1800: Student Chromebook pick-up. This is a chance for our parents to drop-off paperwork, complete required paperwork, and a venue for our kids to log-in for the very first time. Required paperwork will be sent in a separate email to parents. We will have copies available on January 24th, as well. View the Laptop Pick Up information flyer for more details.
  • As we continue our journey into 21st century teaching and learning, students having access to reliable and safe technology at home and at school is important. Each student will be issued a Chromebook that will be used by them for the school year. They will be able to utilize these at home and is a great way for us to leverage the digital world. With many of our classes having digital textbooks, assignments being digitized, etc. this is a long time coming!
  • NEW! All student computers will be monitored via a new internet filter, Lightspeed. View the Lightspeed Filter Document for more information.

  • January 12th & 15th - No School for Students, End of 2nd QTR and Dr. Martin Luther King Federal Holiday
  • January 16: All students may pick-up a copy of their semester 2 schedules in the building 1032 Gym. Schedules are also available via the student and parent portals.
