Principal's Message: Wrapping it up edition
Happy Wednesday KMS students, parents, families, and friends.
Today is my last message of 2023. As I reflect on the positive connections that I have been able to forge so far this year, I can’t help but have a smile on my face. It seems like just a few short weeks ago that I first stepped into the role as principal at KMS, and in that time (20 weeks actually), I have come to learn that our school is blessed to have some amazing kids, supportive parents, and wonderful staff. Truly, I love being a KMS Knight!
I hope that each student and family has a wonderful break. I hope that each of our parents have an opportunity for some time away from work, I hope that you get a chance to unwind and recharge, and I hope that your travels (near or far) are safe. I look forward to seeing you in the New Year!
Speaking of the New Year, here are some reminders.
- Monday, January 1: No school for students
- Thursday, January 11: Last day of Semester #1
- Friday, January 12: No school for students
- Monday, January 15: MLK day, no school
- Tuesday, January 16: 1st day of 2nd quarter. All students will receive an updated schedule before this date to reflect any changes to schedules for 2nd semester electives.
With admiration,
Jason
