Ms. Martina D'Angelo

Biography

Ms. Martina D’Angelo is excited to join Kaiserslautern Middle School for School Year 2023-2024. Ms. D’Angelo is focused on leading compassionately to create a welcoming environment for the KMS community.

Ms. D’Angelo originally joined DoDEA in Aviano Italy in 2002 where she was a Special Education Aide and worked for Youth Program Services. She has 21 years in education and 16 years with DoDEA. Prior to coming to KMS, she taught 1st grade at Vogelweh Elementary School and Ramstein Elementary School. From 2010 to 2019 Ms. D’Angelo was in the pacific and taught AP Government, social studies and video productions at Robert D. Edgren Middle-High School and at Zama American High School.

Ms. D’Angelo holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from University of Maryland University College, and a double master’s degree in Secondary Education and Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Phoenix. Ms. D’Angelo completed her post-master’s certification in Educational Leadership from Northcentral University in 2022.

Ms. D’Angelo is accompanied by her husband and daughter, who is a junior at Kaiserslautern High School. Ms. D’Angelo is honored and enthusiastic about working together with the staff, students, and families of the Kaiserslautern military-connected community.
