Principal's Message: B2K Podcast edition

Vol. 9
October 1, 2025

Students, parents, families, and friends of KMS, happy Wednesday!

In this week's Principal's Message, we are rolling out our first Between 2 Knights (B2K) Podcast of the school year. B2K allows us an opportunity to connect with the KMS community in a different way than the normal weekly written message, it allows our families to hear of the wonderful things going on at KMS, we get to share positive messages, we seek support on important topics, and throughout the year we will have special guests join the podcast. We hope you will take an opportunity to carve out 8 minutes from your busy day to hear from Ms. D'Angelo and I in Vol. 1 of the Between 2 Knights podcast. Check out the embedded video on this page.

Information from your KMS PTSA:

October 10 Deadline: Your KMS PTSA passes along their thanks to everyone who has already registered for the Raise Craze, Kindness Matters fundraiser! If you haven't yet, there's still time to sign up and make a difference. As of today, we are half way towards our $15,000 goal. We have a lot of students actively pursuing Acts of Kindness, they are spreading joy in our community, and we are making a positive impact on the KMS community. Please remember to share this with your network—a simple email, text, or Facebook post can help us make Kindness Matter!

Raise Craze is a unique fundraiser like none other. There is nothing to sell, it’s simple, and it allows our students to “pay it forward by completing Acts of Kindness.” Raise Craze, the online platform for this fundraiser allows participants to identify possible donors who pledge funds towards students completing Acts of Kindness. There are prizes, incentives for grade levels/seminar classes, and more.

This NSPRA award honors outstanding school communication efforts that help connect schools with their communities. This wouldn’t have been possible without the dedication of our amazing school webmasters. Thank you for keeping families connected with your hard work and heart!
