Principal's Message: On our way to 100%, edition
Students, parents, families, and friends of KMS, happy Wednesday! This week’s message is a continuation from last week with only a couple of updates.
Kindness Matters! That isn’t just our mantra, it’s what KMS stands for and we strive to model it in our words, actions, and deeds. As we continue our journey towards building a school culture grounded in kindness, we have an opportunity to partner with our amazing PTSA for a unique fundraising venture centered on honoring kindness.
October 10 Deadline: Your KMS PTSA passes along their thanks to everyone who has already registered for the Raise Craze, Kindness Matters fundraiser! If you haven't yet, there's still time to sign up and make a difference. As of today, we are 10% towards our $15,000 goal. We have 36 participants that have already completed 56 Acts of Kindness. Please remember to share this with your network—a simple email, text, or Facebook post can help us make a positive community impact!
Raise Craze is a unique fundraiser like none other. There is nothing to sell, it’s simple, and it allows our students to “pay it forward by completing Acts of Kindness.” Raise Craze, the online platform for this fundraiser allows participants to identify possible donors who pledge funds towards students completing Acts of Kindness. There are prizes, incentives for grade levels/seminar classes, and more.

- September 29: Teacher Professional Development, No school for kids
- October 10 & 13: Holiday, No School
- October 23: Last day of 1st Quarter
- October 24: Teacher workday for grading, No school for kids
- October 31: Parent Teacher Conferences, No school for kids. Parents, be on the look-out for information from your student(s) teacher(s).
